Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick spray.

Lay graham crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet, breaking them as needed to fit.

In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir constantly until it comes to a boil, then boil for 2-3 minutes.

Pour hot toffee over graham crackers and spread evenly.

Bake for 7-8 minutes until the toffee is bubbly.

Remove from oven, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, let sit for a few minutes to melt, then spread evenly.

Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if using.
