# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature.
02 - 1 large egg.
03 - 1 cup plain flour.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder.
05 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla.
06 - 1/4 teaspoon fine salt.
07 - 1/2 cup cacao powder.
08 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar.
09 - 1/4 cup melted chocolate ganache for topping.
10 - 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts.
11 - 1/2 cup thick caramel to fill cookies.

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 175°C (350°F) to heat up.
02 - Lay parchment on your baking sheet.
03 - Combine salt, baking powder, cocoa, and flour in a bowl.
04 - Whip butter and sugar until it’s nice and airy.
05 - Mix in the egg followed by the vanilla extract.
06 - Put the wet and dry mixes together bit by bit.
07 - Make 1-inch dough balls with your hands.
08 - Cover the dough balls in hazelnut bits.
09 - Use a spoon or thumb to press a dent into the middle.
10 - Bake for about 10 to 12 minutes until firm.
11 - Wait until they cool down completely.
12 - Spoon caramel into the centers.
13 - Drizzle the chocolate ganache on top.
