Hidden Surprise Easter Cakes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Cakes

01 - 1 boxed mix for white cake (or your homemade version), prepared as instructed
02 - Assorted Easter-themed candies (like jelly beans, mini eggs, or M&Ms)

→ For the Glaze

03 - 2 tablespoons milk (add extra if needed)
04 - A single teaspoon of fresh lemon juice
05 - Pastel gel food coloring for spring vibes
06 - 2 full cups of powdered sugar
07 - 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla

# Instructions:

01 - Coat a mini bundt cake pan with butter and dust with flour. This recipe works for a pan that creates six medium-sized cakes.
02 - Follow the steps on the cake mix box (or make your own white cake batter from scratch). Pour into the prepared pan and bake as suggested by the instructions.
03 - Cool the cakes all the way before doing anything else. After they’ve cooled, trim off just a small portion at the bottom of each cake so they can stand without tipping over.
04 - Stir powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and lemon juice in a bowl until smooth. It should be thick but pourable. Add some milk if it’s too stiff or more sugar if it’s too watery. Split the glaze into a few bowls, and use food coloring to make each a unique pastel shade.
05 - Load up the hole in the middle of every bundt cake with your chosen candy. The more you use, the more fun the surprise when served!
06 - Carefully drizzle the colorful glaze over the cakes, keeping it away from the candy-filled hole. Decorate the tops with extra candy for flair.

# Notes:

01 - Ideal for Easter get-togethers or spring events
02 - The hidden candy spills out when the cake is sliced
03 - Go for pastel-colored candy to keep it festive
04 - Keep in a sealed container at room temperature for no more than 3 days
