# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground turkey or beef
02 - 1 yellow onion, chopped
03 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
04 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
05 - 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
06 - 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
07 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
08 - 1 teaspoon coarse salt
09 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
10 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
11 - 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
12 - 2 cups small pasta (e.g., shells)
13 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
14 - 2 cups shredded cheddar or Colby Jack cheese

# Steps:

01 - Set a large pan with a lid to medium-high heat. Add ground meat and cook for 2-3 minutes until beginning to brown.
02 - Add onion to the meat and cook for 4-5 minutes until soft and fragrant. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
03 - Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly stir in beef broth and bring mixture to a boil.
