Peel and slice peaches, then set them aside.

Spread ricotta cheese over one side of each bread slice. Top one side with peaches and drizzle with honey. Add white cheddar cheese to the other side.

Spread butter on top of each slice of bread.

Place sandwiches in a heated panini press or skillet over medium-low heat. Cook until the cheese is melted. If bread browns too quickly, reduce heat to low.

If using optional ingredients, remove the top piece of bread and add crispy bacon, fresh basil, or balsamic glaze on top of the melted cheese.

Serve sandwiches immediately for the best taste.
