Jalapeno Popper Dip Appetizer (Print Format)

Creamy jalapenos, cheddar, and crispy bacon blend for a bold crowd-pleaser at any gathering.

# Ingredients:

→ Base Mixture

01 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
02 - 1 cup sour cream
03 - 4 oz can of diced jalapenos or chilies
04 - 2 fresh jalapenos, finely chopped, membrane and seeds removed for less spice (optional)
05 - 1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled (reserve 1 tbsp for garnish)
06 - 1 packet ranch dressing seasoning mix

→ Cheeses

07 - 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
08 - 1 cup pepper jack cheese, shredded (combine cheeses and reserve 1 cup for topping)

→ Garnishes

09 - 1 tsp green onions, chopped (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Set the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, diced jalapenos, fresh jalapenos, crumbled bacon (reserving 1 tbsp for garnish), ranch dressing seasoning mix, and all but 1 cup of the cheeses.
03 - Grease a 9x11-inch baking dish and spread the mixture evenly into it. Sprinkle the reserved cup of cheese evenly on top.
04 - Place the dish into the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese topping is golden brown and bubbling.
05 - Remove from the oven and garnish with reserved bacon crumbles and chopped green onions. Serve hot and enjoy!

# Tips:

01 - This dish can also be prepared in a crockpot by following the same instructions but cooking on low for 2-3 hours.
02 - Use as a filling for stuffed chicken breasts or as a topping for baked potatoes.
