Swirled Jam Cookie Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup sugar that’s granulated.
02 - 4 ounces of softened cream cheese.
03 - ¼ teaspoon of salt.
04 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla for flavor.
05 - 2¼ cups of regular all-purpose flour.
06 - 1 cup of unsalted butter, softened.
07 - ½ cup of jam (pick raspberry, strawberry, or apricot).
08 - Optional: powdered sugar for sprinkling.

# Instructions:

01 - Blend the butter, cream cheese, and sugar until it looks whipped. Stir in the vanilla.
02 - Add the salt and flour until you’ve got a soft dough.
03 - Divide the dough in two, flatten into disks, wrap them, and cool for half an hour.
04 - Turn each chilled disk into a 12x10-inch rectangle, spread jam across the surface but leave the edges plain.
05 - Shape the dough into logs, wrap them up, and cool for another 15-20 minutes.
06 - Cut into ¼-inch slices and bake on 350°F for about 12-15 minutes, till the edges look golden.

02 - Avoid spreading too much jam inside.
