Elk burgers mixed with smoky bacon, seasoned and grilled for a rich, savory flavor in every bite.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb ground elk
02 - 1 lb hickory-smoked bacon
03 - 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
04 - 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
05 - 1 tsp salt
06 - ½ tsp ground pepper, onion powder, and dried parsley
07 - ¼ tsp paprika
08 - Olive oil

# Steps:

01 - Cook bacon until crispy.
02 - Chop up 4-5 slices into small pieces.
03 - Place the ground elk into a mixing bowl. Add the chopped bacon bits (once cooled), seasonings, breadcrumbs, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix the ingredients gently, but don't over-combine.
04 - Separate the mixture into four pieces and form them into patties about the size of your bun. Note: these won't shrink much.
05 - Lightly coat the burgers with olive oil before adding them to the hot skillet.
06 - Cook patties until a nice sear forms. About 4-5 minutes on medium heat. Flip and continue to cook to your desired doneness.

# Tips:

01 - These burgers are naturally juicy and will not shrink much during cooking.
