# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 large box of Kellogg's Rice Krispie Cereal
02 - 32 oz of mini marshmallows (or 30 oz using three 10 oz bags)
03 - 2 sticks of sweet cream salted butter
04 - Wilton Color Right Food Coloring (Red, Blue, Pink)

# Steps:

01 - Create three separate batches of Rice Krispie Treat mixture: one colored red, one white, and one blue, using food coloring for each batch.
02 - For the red and white layers, combine 5 tbsp butter, 5 cups marshmallows, and 5 cups Rice Krispies per batch. For the blue layer, combine 3 tbsp butter, 3 cups marshmallows, and 3 cups Rice Krispies.
03 - Press the red and white mixtures into two evenly sized cookie sheets, creating thin, compact layers. Allow them to set for 15-30 minutes.
04 - Divide the red and white layers into three equal strips each to form the flag's stripes.
05 - Stack two white and two red strips alternately, starting with red, to create the primary part of the flag.
06 - Halve the remaining red and white strips again. Assemble three alternating stripes (red, white, red) and place them on the right-hand side of the main flag stripes.
07 - Shape the blue Rice Krispie Treat mixture into the open area of the flag by pressing with buttered fingers. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes.
08 - Once the flag is cool, use a hot butter knife to trim any uneven edges. Adjust for a clean rectangular shape.

# Tips:

01 - Allow sufficient cooling time to ensure layers set properly before cutting or layering.
02 - Use buttered fingers to prevent sticking while shaping the blue section of the flag.
