Kielbasa and Rice Skillet (Print Format)

Kielbasa, rice, and peas come together in one skillet for a quick, hearty meal ready in just 20 minutes.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound smoked sausage
02 - 2 cups instant rice
03 - 1 cup frozen peas
04 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
05 - 1 teaspoon dried minced onions
06 - ½ teaspoon sea salt
07 - ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
08 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
09 - ½ teaspoon paprika
10 - 2 cups water

# Steps:

01 - Slice the kielbasa into even slices, about ½ inch thick. Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium heat.
02 - Add the remaining ingredients, mix well, and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
03 - Reduce heat to simmer, cover, and cook until rice is soft and liquid is mostly absorbed. Stir occasionally.
