01 -
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9-inch springform pan with nonstick cooking spray.
02 -
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
03 -
Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Stir well and simmer for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
04 -
Place one flour tortilla in the bottom of the prepared springform pan, pressing it gently into place.
05 -
Spread a layer of seasoned ground beef over the tortilla. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and add a few spoonfuls of salsa.
06 -
Add another tortilla and repeat with beef, cheese, and salsa. Continue until you have 4–5 layers, finishing with a tortilla and shredded cheese.
07 -
Place the springform pan on a baking sheet and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the layers are heated through.
08 -
Remove from the oven and allow the taco cake to cool for 10 minutes before carefully removing the springform ring.
09 -
Spread sour cream over the top, then add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos.
10 -
Slice into wedges like a cake and serve with extra salsa, sour cream, or queso.
