02 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
03 - 1 tbsp paprika
04 - 1 tsp garlic powder
05 - 1 tsp onion powder
06 - ½ tsp salt
07 - ½ tsp black pepper
08 - 1 tsp cayenne pepper, adjust to taste
09 - 1 cup buttermilk
10 - Vegetable oil for frying

→ Sauce

11 - ½ cup hot sauce
12 - 1 tbsp honey
13 - 1 tbsp melted butter
14 - 1 tsp garlic powder
15 - 1 tsp vinegar (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Season evenly with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly to coat.
02 - Pour buttermilk into one bowl and flour into another. Dip each chicken piece into the buttermilk, then dredge in flour ensuring full coverage.
03 - Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (177°C) in a frying pan or deep fryer. Fry chicken pieces in batches for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove with tongs and drain on paper towels.
04 - In a small bowl, combine hot sauce, honey, melted butter, garlic powder, and optional vinegar. Stir until smooth and well blended.
05 - Place fried chicken bites in a large bowl. Pour sauce over and gently toss to coat evenly.
06 - Serve the chicken bites hot alongside preferred accompaniments.

# Tips:

01 - Adjust cayenne pepper to modify spice level. Use a deep-frying thermometer for consistent oil temperature. For thicker coating, double dip chicken in buttermilk and flour. Adding smoked paprika to the sauce enhances flavor complexity.
