Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken (Print Format)

Golden, cheesy chicken breast with crisp seasoned crust and Italian herbs—rich flavor and satisfying texture in every bite.

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken Coating

01 - Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - All-purpose flour
03 - Large eggs
04 - Milk
05 - Bread crumbs, preferably Italian seasoned
06 - Grated Parmesan cheese
07 - Dried Italian seasoning
08 - Salt
09 - Black pepper
10 - Olive oil

→ Topping

11 - Shredded mozzarella cheese
12 - Grated Parmesan cheese
13 - Minced garlic

# Steps:

01 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the floured and breaded chicken breasts for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown, forming a crispy crust and locking in juices.
02 - In a shallow dish, mix bread crumbs, half the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. In another dish, beat eggs and milk. Use a third dish for the flour. Dredge each chicken breast first in flour, then dip in egg wash, before coating with the crumb mixture, ensuring an even layer.
03 - Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil to prevent sticking.
04 - Transfer the chicken breasts to the baking dish. Mix the remaining Parmesan cheese with mozzarella and minced garlic, then sprinkle evenly over the chicken breasts. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked through and the cheese melts into a bubbly golden topping.

# Tips:

01 - High in protein, making it perfect for a filling dinner.
02 - Freezes well for leftovers, which can be reheated easily.
03 - Combining Parmesan and mozzarella creates a flavor that is both sharp and creamy.
