# Ingredients:

→ Cake Ingredients

01 - 1½ cups mashed ripe bananas
02 - ½ cup granulated sugar
03 - ½ cup brown sugar
04 - ½ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
07 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
08 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
09 - ½ teaspoon baking powder
10 - ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
11 - ¼ teaspoon salt
12 - 1 cup chopped pecans

→ Optional Vanilla Glaze

13 - ½ cup powdered sugar
14 - 1–2 tablespoons milk
15 - ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

# Steps:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your cake pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, oil (or melted butter), eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
03 - In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir evenly to distribute.
04 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir gently until just combined—do not overmix. Fold in the chopped pecans.
05 - Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
06 - While the cake cools, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust the consistency as needed.
07 - Once the cake is fully cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top, slice, and serve.

# Tips:

01 - Use ripe bananas for maximum flavor.
02 - Toast pecans lightly for a richer taste.
03 - Do not overmix the batter to maintain a tender texture.
