Mac and Cheese Stuffed Burgers (Print Format)

Beef patties filled with creamy mac and cheese, grilled and served on buns with classic toppings.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 box macaroni and cheese
02 - 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
03 - 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
04 - Burger buns
05 - Assorted toppings (e.g., tomatoes, toasted breadcrumbs)

# Steps:

01 - Cook the macaroni and cheese according to the package instructions. Return the mac and cheese to the saucepan and simmer for 1 minute until thickened. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted for better consistency.
02 - Pour the mac and cheese mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Cover with another sheet of parchment and spread to approximately 3/4 inch thickness. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
03 - Remove the chilled mac and cheese from the refrigerator. Using a cookie cutter, cut out rounds of pasta.
04 - Take the mac and cheese rounds and wrap a thin layer of ground beef evenly around each disc.
05 - Cook the stuffed burgers on a grill or stovetop, ensuring not to overcook to prevent the mac and cheese from spilling out. Remove from heat once the pasta begins to leak slightly.
06 - Place cooked burgers on buns and add preferred toppings such as tomatoes and toasted breadcrumbs. Serve immediately.
