Flaky biscuit dough stuffed with beef, cheddar, bacon, and maple syrup for a sweet-savory bite.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 1/2 tsp salt
03 - 1/4 tsp black pepper
04 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
05 - 1/2 small onion, finely diced (optional)
06 - 6 slices cooked bacon, chopped
07 - 1 tbsp maple syrup (plus extra for brushing)
08 - 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

→ Bombs

09 - 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
10 - 1 egg plus 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)
11 - Sesame seeds (optional, for topping)

# Steps:

01 - In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion until fully browned (6–8 minutes). Drain excess fat. Stir in maple syrup and cooked bacon. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese.
02 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper. Flatten each biscuit round slightly. Place a generous spoonful of beef-cheese mixture in the center of each round. Fold edges up and pinch to seal, forming a dough pouch. Arrange seam-side down on the baking sheet.
03 - Brush each dough pouch with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
04 - Immediately after baking, brush each pouch with extra maple syrup to create a shiny, sticky-sweet glaze.

# Tips:

01 - The filling can be prepared up to 2 days ahead and stored refrigerated. Assemble the bombs up to 4 hours before baking. Leftovers reheat well in oven or air fryer at 350°F for 8–10 minutes.
