# Ingredients:

→ For Casserole

01 - 5-6 cups mashed potatoes
02 - 1 cup corn
03 - 1 cup cheddar cheese, freshly grated
04 - 8 chicken tenders, homemade or frozen
05 - Brown gravy, prepared or from a packet

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
02 - If using frozen chicken tenders, let them sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes if you prefer to slice them first. This allows them to soften.
03 - Spread the mashed potatoes on the bottom of a 9 x 13 casserole dish. If the mashed potatoes are cold, warm them first. Top with corn and cheddar cheese.
04 - Carefully slice the chicken strips into pieces of desired size and place them on top of the casserole.
05 - Bake the casserole uncovered for 20 minutes if using frozen chicken tenders and 15 minutes for homemade chicken tenders.
06 - Prepare the gravy on the stovetop while the casserole finishes baking.
07 - Drizzle the desired amount of gravy over the casserole and serve.

# Tips:

01 - This dish can be made ahead of time and baked later for a quick family dinner.
02 - Homemade popcorn chicken can also be used as a substitute for chicken tenders.
