01 -
Preheat oven to 400°F. In a large non-stick skillet, cook ground beef with 1/2 teaspoon oregano, garlic powder, and kosher salt until browned, breaking up the meat frequently; drain excess fat.
02 -
Allow beef to cool slightly, then stir in 1/3 cup pizza sauce until evenly combined; set aside.
03 -
Unroll pizza dough onto a baking sheet with sides; gently stretch to form a rectangle if necessary.
04 -
Spread 1/2 cup pizza sauce down center of dough, leaving edges free for braiding. Layer provolone slices, pepperoni, beef mixture, then shredded mozzarella over sauce.
05 -
Cut 1-inch wide strips along both sides of dough toward filling. Alternately fold strips over the filling, creating a braided appearance.
06 -
Brush braided dough with melted butter, sprinkle Parmesan cheese and remaining 1/8 teaspoon oregano on top.
07 -
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Heat remaining pizza sauce for dipping. Let cool 5 minutes before slicing and serving warm with sauce.
