Melt-in-Your-Mouth Biscuits (Print Format)

Buttery, fluffy biscuits with just flour and yogurt—ready in 15 minutes and customizable for any meal.

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 1 cup self-rising flour
02 - 3/4 cup Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)

→ Optional Toppings/Add-Ins

03 - Melted butter for brushing
04 - Fresh herbs like chives or rosemary
05 - Shredded cheese (cheddar, Parmesan, etc.)
06 - Honey or jam for serving

# Steps:

01 - Preheat your oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt. Stir until a shaggy dough forms. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for about 30 seconds to bring it together. Avoid overworking the dough to keep the biscuits tender.
03 - Pat the dough into a rectangle or circle about 1.25 cm thick. Use a round biscuit cutter, glass, or knife to cut out biscuits. Re-roll scraps once if necessary. Place biscuits on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2.5 cm space between each one.
04 - Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown on top and cooked through. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly on the baking sheet.
05 - Brush the warm biscuits with melted butter. Serve plain or with jams, honey, or alongside savory dishes like soups and stews.

# Tips:

01 - Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the fluffiest texture.
02 - Avoid overhandling the dough to ensure tender biscuits.
03 - Leftover biscuits can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or frozen for longer storage.
04 - Experiment with savory or sweet add-ins like fresh herbs, cheese, or honey.
