# Ingredients:

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon chili powder
04 - ½ teaspoon cumin
05 - ½ teaspoon paprika
06 - Salt and pepper, to taste
07 - 2 tablespoons butter
08 - 2 tablespoons flour
09 - 1 cup milk
10 - ½ cup heavy cream
11 - 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)
12 - 1 can (4 oz) diced green chiles
13 - Fresh cilantro for garnish

# Steps:

01 - Rub chicken breasts with chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
02 - Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the chicken until golden and fully cooked, about 6–7 minutes per side. Remove and keep warm.
03 - In the same pan, melt butter, whisk in flour, and cook for 1 minute.
04 - Gradually add milk and cream, stirring continuously until smooth and thickened. Stir in shredded cheese and diced green chiles until the mixture is melted and creamy.
05 - Pour the cheese sauce over the chicken in the skillet and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
06 - Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with rice, tortillas, or roasted vegetables.
