Monte Cristo Mini Sliders (Print Format)

Mini sandwiches filled with ham, turkey, Swiss cheese, and sweet-tangy toppings make perfect party bites.

# Ingredients:

→ Slider Ingredients

01 - 12 Hawaiian rolls
02 - 12 slices ham
03 - 12 slices turkey
04 - 12 slices Swiss cheese

→ Topping

05 - 1/3 cup salted butter, melted
06 - 1 egg
07 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
09 - Raspberry or strawberry jam (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9x13 inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
02 - Without separating the rolls, slice the entire package in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves into the prepared baking pan.
03 - Layer half of the Swiss cheese slices on the bottom halves of the rolls. Add all the slices of ham, followed by all the slices of turkey. Layer the remaining Swiss cheese slices on top, then cover with the top halves of the rolls.
04 - In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, egg, and black pepper. Brush the mixture evenly over the tops of the assembled sliders.
05 - Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the buns are toasted. If the tops of the buns start browning too much, loosely cover with tented aluminum foil to prevent over-browning.
06 - Remove the sliders from the oven and sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar. Serve warm with raspberry or strawberry jam, or maple syrup, if desired.

# Tips:

01 - Cover the rolls with foil if they brown too quickly to ensure they don't burn.
02 - The powdered sugar and jam are optional but add a classic Monte Cristo flavor.
