# Ingredients:

→ Sauteed Mushrooms

01 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 pound sliced baby bella mushrooms or sliced white button mushrooms
04 - 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
05 - ¼ cup beef broth
06 - 1 teaspoon minced garlic cloves
07 - 1 teaspoon black pepper

→ Burgers

08 - 1 pound ground beef, 80/20
09 - 1 tablespoon steak seasoning
10 - 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
11 - 4 slices swiss cheese
12 - 4 hamburger buns, recommended: brioche buns

# Steps:

01 - Add butter and olive oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the butter has melted, add the mushrooms and worcestershire sauce. Stir, then cook for 5 minutes without stirring. Add beef broth and allow it to evaporate for 8-10 minutes. Once most of the liquid has cooked off, add minced garlic and black pepper. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, remove from heat, and set aside.
02 - Combine ground beef, steak seasoning, and worcestershire sauce in a large bowl. Form into four 4-ounce patties.
03 - Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Place burgers on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side. During the last 1-2 minutes, place a slice of swiss cheese on each patty. Toast hamburger buns on the grill.
04 - Place cooked patties on toasted buns. Add sauteed mushrooms on top and optional toppings as desired.

# Tips:

01 - Cooking a one-inch thick burger for 4-5 minutes per side will result in a medium burger. For medium-well, add 1 minute per side. For well-done, cook for 6-7 minutes per side.
02 - Mushrooms can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Reheat on the stove for 5 minutes or in the microwave for 2 minutes.
03 - This recipe can also be made on the stove using a grill pan or cast iron skillet. Cook burgers over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side, topping with swiss cheese during the last 1-2 minutes of cook time.
