Heat pan over medium heat, add 2 tbsp butter. Cook shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until opaque, then remove and set aside.

Add remaining butter to the pan and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.

Add chicken broth, whole milk, and fettuccine noodles to the pan. Stir to separate noodles. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 11 minutes until noodles are al dente.

Remove the lid and add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir until the cheese melts.

Add the cooked shrimp back into the pan. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes to thicken.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
