One Pan Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo (Print Format)

Shrimp, garlic, butter and Parmesan come together in one skillet for rich, creamy fettuccine alfredo.

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
02 - 1 lb large shrimp (peeled & deveined)
03 - 2 cloves garlic (minced)
04 - 2 cups chicken broth
05 - 1 cup whole milk
06 - 1/2 lb fettuccine noodles
07 - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
08 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
09 - Salt, pepper & pinch nutmeg
10 - Fresh parsley for garnish

# Steps:

01 - Heat pan over medium heat, add 2 tbsp butter. Cook shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until opaque, then remove and set aside.
02 - Add remaining butter to the pan and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
03 - Add chicken broth, whole milk, and fettuccine noodles to the pan. Stir to separate noodles. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 11 minutes until noodles are al dente.
04 - Remove the lid and add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir until the cheese melts.
05 - Add the cooked shrimp back into the pan. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
06 - Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

01 - For an extra creamy texture, add a splash of pasta water to the sauce.
