# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1/2 yellow onion, diced
03 - 1 bell pepper, diced
04 - 10 ounces diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
05 - 1 packet taco seasoning
06 - 1/2 cup tomato sauce
07 - 2 cups beef broth
08 - 1 cup whole milk
09 - 2 1/2 cups shell pasta
10 - 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

# Steps:

01 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the onions, bell peppers, and ground beef. Cook until no pink is visible in the meat. Drain excess grease and season with the packet of taco seasoning.
02 - Add the diced tomatoes with green chilies, tomato sauce, beef broth, whole milk, and shell pasta to the skillet. Stir until well combined, then bring to a simmer over low heat. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, until the pasta is cooked.
03 - Once the pasta is cooked, add the shredded cheese and stir until fully melted. Serve warm.

# Tips:

01 - Adjust the taco seasoning and diced tomatoes with green chilies to your taste preference for a milder or spicier flavor.
02 - Whole milk contributes to a creamy texture; don't skip it for the best results.
03 - Feel free to replace cheddar cheese with Velveeta, pepper jack, or your preferred cheese.
