# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - ½ yellow onion, diced
03 - 1 bell pepper, diced
04 - 10 ounces diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
05 - 1 packet taco seasoning
06 - ½ cup tomato sauce
07 - 2 cups beef broth
08 - 1 cup whole milk
09 - 2 ½ cups shell pasta
10 - 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

# Steps:

01 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the diced onions, bell peppers, and ground beef. Cook until no pink remains in the meat. Drain any excess grease and season with the taco seasoning packet.
02 - Add the diced tomatoes with green chilies, tomato sauce, beef broth, whole milk, and shell pasta. Stir well to combine, then bring to a simmer over low heat. Cover the skillet and cook for 10-15 minutes until the pasta is tender, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
03 - Once the pasta is fully cooked, add the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and evenly distributed. Serve immediately and enjoy.

# Tips:

01 - Adjust the taco seasoning and Rotel to your taste preference for a mild or spicy flavor.
02 - Adding milk helps create a creamy texture and thickens the sauce by absorbing pasta starch.
03 - You can replace cheddar with Velveeta, pepper jack, or any cheese of your choice.
