Pancake Sausage Cheese Bites (Print Format)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound breakfast sausage
02 - 2 cups pancake mix
03 - 1 ½ cups water
04 - 1 cup shredded cheese
05 - ¼ cup maple syrup

# Steps:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F.
02 - Add your breakfast sausage to a skillet and cook it over medium heat. Use a spatula to crumble the sausage as it cooks. Cook until there is no pink left, about 10 minutes.
03 - Once the breakfast sausage is cooked through, remove it from the skillet and set it to the side.
04 - Combine the pancake mix and water in a bowl and mix well, careful not to over mix. Add the cooked sausage, shredded cheese, and maple syrup. Fold together with a spoon until just combined.
05 - Spoon about a tablespoon of the sausage pancake mixture into each spot of a mini muffin pan.
06 - Bake the pancake bites for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
07 - Continue baking until all batter is used, making about 48 mini sausage pancake bites. Serve with a side of maple syrup and enjoy.
