Pepperoni Pizza Burger (Print Format)

Juicy burger patties meet pepperoni, pizza sauce, and melted cheese on toasted buns.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 Tablespoons Butter
02 - 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Seasoning with Herbs
03 - 1 Pound 80% Lean Ground Beef
04 - 1/4 Pound Spicy or Mild Italian Sausage
05 - Salt and Pepper
06 - 4 Buns
07 - Pizza Sauce
08 - Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
09 - Parmesan Cheese
10 - Pepperoni

# Steps:

01 - Heat the grill to high heat.
02 - In a small bowl, melt the butter and stir in the garlic seasoning with herbs.
03 - Place the pepperoni between two paper towels, ensuring they are not overlapping. Microwave for 15 seconds and set aside.
04 - Shape the ground beef into 4 patties. Place a little Italian sausage in the center of each patty, gently fold together, and reshape into patties. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
05 - Turn the heat to medium-high and grill each patty for 2-3 minutes per side.
06 - Brush each bun with the butter mixture and place on the grill for about 1 minute or until grill marks appear.
07 - Place a patty on each bun, add a bit of pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella, and crispy pepperoni. Optionally, place the burgers under a broiler or in the grill on tin foil with the lid closed to melt the cheese.
08 - Sprinkle each burger with parmesan cheese and add the top bun.

# Tips:

01 - To reheat, remove meat from the bun and microwave until hot, then return to the bun.
