# Ingredients:

01 - 4 slices thick-cut sandwich bread
02 - 1/2 cup shredded or sliced mozzarella cheese
03 - 12 slices pepperoni
04 - 2 tablespoons marinara or pizza sauce
05 - 2 tablespoons softened butter

# Steps:

01 - Spread marinara sauce on one side of each bread slice.
02 - Layer mozzarella cheese on one slice, add pepperoni, and top with more cheese if desired.
03 - Close the sandwich with the second slice of bread, sauce side in.
04 - Butter the outer sides of the sandwich.
