Philly Cheese Steak Sloppy Joes (Print Format)

Juicy ground beef, peppers, onions, and cheese piled on toasted Brioche buns for a tasty Philly-style sandwich.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb lean ground beef
02 - 1 cup diced yellow onions
03 - 1 cup diced green peppers
04 - 1 cup water
05 - 0.87 oz brown gravy mix
06 - 1/2 tsp salt
07 - 1/2 tsp pepper
08 - 4 Brioche buns
09 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F for toasting the buns.
02 - Dump the ground beef into a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add the diced onions and diced peppers to the pan and stir well. Crumble the ground beef well as it cooks.
03 - Once the ground beef is fully cooked, drain the grease from the pan.
04 - Add the water, brown gravy mix, salt, and pepper to the pan. Stir well and leave to simmer and thicken for 3 minutes.
05 - Stir well again and reduce the heat to low.
06 - Place the buns in a single layer on a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the oven and toast the buns for 4-5 minutes.
07 - Remove the sloppy joe pan from the heat and add the shredded cheese to the pan. Stir just until the cheese is melted.
08 - Scoop the sloppy joe mixture onto the toasted buns. Serve and enjoy!
