Pizza Burger Pepperoni Cheese (Print Format)

Juicy patties, Italian flavors and classic pizza toppings combine in a crave-worthy, cheesy burger.

# Ingredients:

→ Burger Ingredients

01 - 1 lb ground beef, 80% lean and 20% fat
02 - 1 lb ground Italian sausage
03 - 4 hamburger buns

→ Toppings and Seasoning

04 - Marinara sauce
05 - 4 slices mozzarella cheese
06 - Pepperoni slices
07 - Parmesan cheese, optional
08 - Butter
09 - Pizza seasoning (oregano, basil, marjoram, garlic)

# Steps:

01 - Heat your grill, pan, or preferred cooking surface to high temperature.
02 - Combine ground beef, Italian sausage, and pizza seasoning (oregano, basil, marjoram, garlic). Divide mixture into 8 oz portions (or smaller 6 oz if preferred) and shape into patties about 1/2 inch larger than the hamburger buns. Press a thumbprint in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
03 - Grill patties for approximately 4 minutes on the first side.
04 - Simultaneously, heat marinara sauce in a pan over medium-low heat until warmed. Heat pepperoni slices on a pan or tinfoil on the grill for a couple of minutes.
05 - Flip the patties and cook for another 2 to 4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 140°F for medium doneness. Place a slice of mozzarella cheese on each patty about a minute before removing from the grill.
06 - Place the hamburger buns face down on the grill and toast for 1 to 2 minutes.
07 - Place the cooked patties onto the toasted buns. Spoon warm marinara sauce on top, add heated pepperoni slices, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.

# Tips:

01 - Use a thumbprint in the patties to ensure an evenly cooked burger.
02 - Toast the buns briefly to maintain their structure and add flavor.
