Line your baking tray with a sheet of foil and lightly spray it, or grab a silicone mat if you've got one.

Preheat your oven to 400°F.

Arrange the crackers neatly on the lined tray so they cover it in one layer.

Combine the butter and brown sugar in a pot. Turn up the heat and let it come to a boil, then boil for 3 minutes straight.

Drizzle the hot toffee mixture over the crackers and smooth it out so every piece gets covered.

Pop the tray in the oven for 3-5 minutes until the toffee bubbles.

Take the tray out and scatter the chocolate chips over the top. Put it back in the oven for another 2-3 minutes, just enough to melt the chocolate, then spread it around evenly.

Scatter sprinkles or almonds over the gooey chocolate before it sets. Let the tray cool all the way—on the counter or in the fridge—then break it into chunks.
