Shrimp Scampi Linguine (Print Format)

Homemade version of shrimp pasta with crunchy panko shrimp, tossed linguine, white wine cream, herbs, and cherry tomato bits.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 lbs peeled jumbo shrimp.
02 - 1 cup panko crumbs.
03 - 2 tbsp softened butter.
04 - 1/2 cup grated parmesan.
05 - 2 tsp lemon pepper, split in half.
06 - 2 tsp cajun blend, split in two.
07 - Half a cup of flat-leaf parsley.
08 - 1/2 cup finely diced red onions.
09 - Half a cup chopped tomatoes.
10 - 1 tbsp minced garlic paste.
11 - 2 tbsp of butter for cooking.
12 - 1 1/2 cups dry white wine.
13 - 2 cups rich heavy cream.
14 - 1 cup shredded parmesan for the sauce.
15 - 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice.
16 - 1 tbsp finely grated lemon peel.
17 - 1 lb linguine pasta.

# Steps:

01 - Boil the pasta as instructed. Mix shrimp with spices, then coat with the crumb mix.
02 - Pan-fry crumb-coated shrimp for about 3 mins on each side till crispy brown.
03 - Cook veggies in butter. Pour in wine, reduce it down. Stir in cream, let it thicken. Add in seasoning and cheese.
04 - Mix the pasta with the creamy sauce. Layer shrimp on top, sprinkle some fresh lemon peel.

# Tips:

01 - Don’t go heavy with the panko.
02 - Use an egg wash for better crumb coverage, if you like.
03 - Tastes best when eaten right away.
