School Cafeteria Breakfast Pizza (Print Format)

Soft pizza crust topped with savory gravy, sausage, and cheese—just like you remember from school mornings.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 13.8 oz can refrigerated classic pizza crust

→ Toppings

02 - 2.75 oz packet white country gravy mix
03 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 1 cup cooked crumbled pork sausage

# Steps:

01 - Spray an 11x15-inch rimmed baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
02 - Open and unroll the pizza dough. Place it in the middle of the pan and spread/press it evenly to the edges and slightly up the sides by 1/4 inch.
03 - Bake the crust at 400°F for 6 minutes.
04 - Prepare the gravy mix according to package instructions and spread it evenly over the crust until it meets the edges.
05 - Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the gravy, followed by the cooked crumbled sausage.
06 - Bake the pizza at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is cooked through and the edges are golden brown.
07 - Carefully remove the pizza from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice and serve warm.

# Tips:

01 - Consider adding other toppings such as extra sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, diced ham, or cheddar cheese for additional flavor.
02 - Set up a toppings bar for personalization, especially for kids.
03 - Do not skip the resting period after baking as it allows the cheese to set, preventing it from sliding off when slicing.
