# Ingredients:

→ Biscuits

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 tablespoon baking powder
03 - ½ teaspoon baking soda
04 - 1 teaspoon salt
05 - 6 tablespoons cold butter, cubed
06 - ¾ cup cold buttermilk

07 - 1 lb breakfast sausage
08 - Optional: sliced cheddar or American cheese

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
02 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
03 - Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
04 - Stir in buttermilk until the dough just comes together.
05 - Turn dough onto a floured surface, fold a few times, then roll to a thickness of 1 inch.
06 - Cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter and place them on a baking sheet.
