Spaghetti Garlic Tomato Shrimp (Print Format)

Tender shrimp and tomatoes infuse spaghetti with rich, aromatic flavors in this vibrant pasta classic.

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta

01 - 250g spaghetti
02 - Salt for boiling water

→ Shrimp Sauce

03 - 300g shrimp, peeled and deveined
04 - 2 tbsp olive oil
05 - 4–5 garlic cloves, minced
06 - 1 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)
07 - 2 tbsp tomato paste
08 - 1 tsp paprika
09 - 1 tsp black pepper
10 - Salt to taste
11 - 1 tsp sugar (optional, to balance acidity)
12 - 1/4 cup pasta water
13 - 1 tbsp butter (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water.
02 - Heat oil in a pan. Add shrimp, season with a pinch of salt and paprika. Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
03 - In the same pan, add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Season with black pepper, paprika, salt, and sugar if needed. Add a splash of pasta water and simmer until sauce thickens.
04 - Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss to coat evenly. Stir in butter if using. Return shrimp to the pan and mix gently.
05 - Plate hot and finish with extra black pepper.
