Spinach and Cheese Manicotti (Print Format)

Mozzarella, ricotta, and spinach tucked inside manicotti pasta, baked in tomato sauce until golden and bubbly.

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 oz Manicotti Pasta, cooked until al dente
02 - 2 cups Ricotta Cheese
03 - 3 cups Mozzarella Cheese, hand shredded
04 - 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
05 - 1 Egg
06 - ¼ cup Frozen Chopped Spinach, thawed and drained very well
07 - 3 cups Tomato Sauce (homemade or jarred)
08 - Salt and Pepper, to taste
09 - 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
10 - 1 teaspoon Oregano
11 - 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - Line a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with 2 cups of tomato sauce.
03 - In a large bowl, combine ricotta, 2 cups of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, spinach, salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and Italian seasoning. Mix until evenly combined.
04 - Using a spoon, fill the inside of the manicotti pasta with the prepared spinach and cheese mixture.
05 - Place the filled manicotti side by side in the prepared baking dish. Cover them with the remaining tomato sauce and sprinkle the top with the rest of the mozzarella cheese.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through.
07 - Let the dish cool slightly, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.
