# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - ¾ cup warm whole milk
02 - 1 pack quick rise or active yeast
03 - ¼ cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 egg
05 - 1 egg yolk
06 - ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
07 - 3 cups bread flour
08 - ¾ teaspoon salt

→ Strawberry Filling

09 - 1 lb strawberries, quartered
10 - 1 cup sugar
11 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
12 - ½ teaspoon lime juice

→ Cream Cheese Frosting

13 - 16 oz cream cheese, room temperature
14 - 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
15 - 4 cups powdered sugar
16 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

# Steps:

01 - Warm the milk in a microwave-safe bowl for 30–40 seconds until it's warm but not hot. Transfer to the bowl of an electric mixer, sprinkle yeast on top, and add sugar, egg, egg yolk, and melted butter. Mix using a paddle attachment until combined. Add flour and salt, mixing until dough begins to form.
02 - Attach the dough hook to the mixer and knead on medium speed for 8 minutes until the dough forms a slightly sticky ball. If it's too sticky, add 2 tablespoons of flour. Alternatively, knead by hand for 8–10 minutes on a floured surface.
03 - Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap and a warm towel. Let it rise for 1–1½ hours, or until doubled in size, depending on your home’s humidity and temperature.
04 - Place quartered strawberries and sugar in a saucepan. Mash strawberries into the sugar until dissolved. Add cornstarch and lime juice, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon. Add water if too thick and set aside.
05 - Once the dough has risen, transfer it to a floured surface. Roll it into a 14x9 inch rectangle. Spread the cooled strawberry mixture over the dough, leaving some space at the edges for rolling.
06 - Starting from the 9-inch side, tightly roll the dough into a log. Slice the log into 9 equal pieces using thread or a serrated knife.
07 - Place the rolls in a greased or parchment-lined 9x9-inch pan or 9-inch round cake pan. Let them rise for 30–45 minutes.
08 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 20–25 minutes, until light golden brown on the edges. Let them cool for 5–10 minutes before frosting.
09 - In a mixer with a whisk attachment, combine cream cheese, butter, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, one cup at a time, mixing between additions.
10 - Spread frosting over the rolls. If desired, garnish with leftover sliced strawberries. Serve and enjoy.
