# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
03 - 1/8 teaspoon salt
04 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
05 - 4 oz cream cheese, softened
06 - 3/4 cup sugar
07 - 1 large egg
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
09 - 3/4 cup chopped fresh strawberries
10 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice
11 - 1-2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (for strawberries)
12 - 5 oz white chocolate, chopped
13 - Sanding sugar (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Pour fresh lemon juice over chopped strawberries and drain them after a few minutes.
02 - Whisk together 1 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/8 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. Set aside.
03 - Beat 1/4 cup softened butter, 4 oz softened cream cheese, and 3/4 cup sugar together until light and fluffy.
04 - Mix in the large egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until well combined.
05 - Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the wet mixture and mix until fully incorporated.
06 - Gently fold in 5 oz of chopped white chocolate.
07 - Coat chopped strawberries with 1-2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour and stir gently into the batter.
08 - Drop heaping tablespoons of batter onto a parchment-lined baking tray, leaving about an inch of space between drops. Refrigerate the tray for 5-10 minutes.
09 - Optionally sprinkle sanding sugar over the cookie dough drops. Avoid overdoing it as the cookies are already sweet.
10 - Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 13-15 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
11 - Allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes on the baking tray, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

# Tips:

01 - Ensure strawberries are properly drained to avoid excess moisture in the dough.
