# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 pounds (4 large) boneless skinless chicken breasts, room temperature
02 - 1½ cups Sweet Baby Ray’s Original barbecue sauce (divided: 1 cup for cooking, ½ cup for serving)
03 - 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
04 - ¼ cup light brown sugar, packed
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - ½ teaspoon onion powder
07 - ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

# Steps:

01 - Add the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a single layer to a 4-5 quart crockpot slow cooker.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together 1 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s Original barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, light brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes.
03 - Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken breasts inside the slow cooker, ensuring all the chicken is evenly coated.
04 - Place the lid on the slow cooker and set it to LOW. Cook for 4 - 5 hours or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature reaches 165°F) and tender.
05 - Remove the lid of the crockpot and spread the remaining ½ cup Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce over the chicken.
06 - Turn the crockpot setting to HIGH and cook, uncovered, for 30 - 45 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
07 - Turn off the crockpot and transfer the cooked chicken to a serving plate. Garnish with finely chopped parsley, if desired, and serve warm.

# Tips:

01 - For even cooking, ensure chicken pieces are arranged in a single layer inside the slow cooker.
