01 -
Add the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a single layer to a 4-5 quart crockpot slow cooker.
02 -
In a small bowl, whisk together 1 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s Original barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, light brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes.
03 -
Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken breasts inside the slow cooker, ensuring all the chicken is evenly coated.
04 -
Place the lid on the slow cooker and set it to LOW. Cook for 4 - 5 hours or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature reaches 165°F) and tender.
05 -
Remove the lid of the crockpot and spread the remaining ½ cup Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce over the chicken.
06 -
Turn the crockpot setting to HIGH and cook, uncovered, for 30 - 45 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
07 -
Turn off the crockpot and transfer the cooked chicken to a serving plate. Garnish with finely chopped parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
