Tender seared steak chunks in a sticky, sweet, and spicy glaze perfect for quick meals or snacks.

# Ingredients:

→ Steak Bites

01 - 1.5 lb sirloin, ribeye, or NY strip steak, cut into chunks
02 - 1 tbsp olive oil or neutral cooking oil
03 - 1 tsp salt
04 - 0.5 tsp black pepper
05 - 0.5 tsp garlic powder

→ Sweet & Spicy Glaze

06 - 0.33 cup sweet chili sauce
07 - 3 tbsp ketchup
08 - 1 tbsp soy sauce
09 - 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
10 - 1 to 2 tsp sriracha or gochujang, to taste
11 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
12 - Juice of 0.5 lime
13 - 0.5 tsp chili flakes (optional)

→ Garnish

14 - Fresh parsley or green onions
15 - Sesame seeds (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Pat steak chunks dry with paper towels to ensure searing. Season evenly with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
02 - Whisk together sweet chili sauce, ketchup, soy sauce, honey, sriracha or gochujang, minced garlic, and lime juice in a small bowl. Set aside.
03 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add oil. Once hot, arrange steak pieces in a single layer without overcrowding. Sear 1 to 2 minutes per side until browned yet juicy inside. Remove and set aside.
04 - Reduce heat to medium in the same skillet and pour in the prepared glaze. Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
05 - Return steak bites to the skillet and toss to fully coat in the sticky glaze. Cook an additional minute for the sauce to cling evenly.
06 - Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions and optional sesame seeds. Serve immediately while hot.

# Tips:

01 - Patting the steak dry before seasoning ensures a better sear by preventing steaming.
