Taco Bell Mexican Pizza (Print Format)

Crisp tortillas layered with beans, beef, enchilada sauce, and cheese for a Taco Bell style favorite.

# Ingredients:

→ For the pizzas

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 packet taco seasoning
03 - ¾ cup water
04 - 1 cup vegetable oil
05 - 8 flour tortillas (taco size)
06 - 15 ounce can refried beans
07 - 10 ounce can enchilada sauce
08 - 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend

→ Toppings

09 - diced tomatoes
10 - sliced green onion
11 - sliced olives
12 - sour cream

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F.
02 - In a large skillet, brown and crumble the ground beef. Drain excess grease, then return the beef to the skillet. Add the taco seasoning and water, stirring to combine. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until thickened.
03 - In a separate large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add one tortilla and cook for about 3-4 minutes, flipping frequently, until crisp. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and set aside.
04 - Heat the refried beans in a microwave-safe bowl until warm. This will make it easier to spread onto the tortilla shells.
05 - On each fried tortilla, spread a generous layer of refried beans, then top with seasoned ground beef. Place another tortilla on top, spread about 2 tablespoons of enchilada sauce, and sprinkle with shredded Mexican cheese blend. Repeat for the remaining pizzas.
06 - Place the assembled pizzas on a large nonstick baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
07 - Serve the pizzas with toppings such as diced tomatoes, sliced green onions, sliced olives, and sour cream.
