01 - 1 lb lean ground beef

→ Vegetables

02 - ½ medium onion, chopped
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 3 cups chopped cabbage

05 - 15 oz canned diced tomatoes
06 - 8 oz canned tomato sauce

→ Seasonings and Cheese

07 - 2 tsp Italian seasoning
08 - 2 tsp salt
09 - 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

# Steps:

01 - Place ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat and cook, breaking up the meat until it begins to brown.
02 - When beef is halfway cooked, add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Continue cooking until beef is fully browned and onions are softened.
03 - Add chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, and salt to the skillet. Stir thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
04 - Cover the skillet and cook for 15 minutes, or until cabbage has softened to your preferred texture.
05 - Remove skillet from heat, sprinkle shredded cheddar evenly on top, and let stand for 5 minutes to melt.
06 - Sprinkle minced parsley over the casserole before serving.
