Chutney Grilled Cheese Sandwich (Print Format)

Spicy green chutney pairs perfectly with gooey grilled cheese in this flavorful vegetarian sandwich.

# Ingredients:

→ Green Chutney

01 - 2 cups coriander leaves
02 - 6 cloves garlic
03 - 1-inch ginger, sliced
04 - 2 large green chilies, chopped
05 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
06 - ½ teaspoon chaat masala powder
07 - Salt to taste
08 - 2 ice cubes
09 - 1 slice bread
10 - Water, if required

→ Grilled Cheese Sandwich

11 - 4 slices bread
12 - 2 cheese slices
13 - Butter, as required
14 - Green chutney, as required
15 - Mozzarella cheese, as required

# Steps:

01 - In a grinder jar, combine coriander leaves, garlic, ginger, green chilies, lemon juice, chaat masala powder, salt, ice cubes, and a slice of bread. Add water if needed and grind into a smooth paste.
02 - Spread butter on one side of a bread slice, flip it, and apply green chutney on the other side.
03 - Place a slice of cheese on the buttered side of the bread. Add grated mozzarella cheese over the cheese slice. Take another slice of bread, spread green chutney on one side, flip (chutney-side down), and place on top of the cheese. Press lightly.
04 - Generously spread butter over the top slice of bread.
05 - Heat a pan over medium-low heat. Place the sandwich into the pan and cook until the bottom turns golden brown. Flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
06 - Remove from the pan and serve the chutney grilled cheese sandwich hot.
