→ For Finishing Touches

09 - Mini chocolate eggs or jelly beans for decoration

# Instructions:

01 - Butter or spray your cupcake pans generously so nothing sticks, then set them aside for later.
02 - In a big bowl that’s safe for the microwave, toss in the marshmallows and butter. Heat it up for about 2 minutes. Watch it closely so the marshmallows don’t spill over! Stir it all together until the mixture is smooth and everything is melted.
03 - Add the Rice Krispies cereal into your marshmallow mixture. Mix until the cereal is coated and sticky.
04 - While it’s still warm, spoon the mix into your greased cupcake molds. Push down the middle with wax paper to give it a nest shape. Let them cool off for at least 30 minutes so they’re firm.
05 - Combine butter, milk, vanilla extract, and 2 cups of powdered sugar in a large mixing bowl. Beat it for about five minutes until it’s creamy. Add in the rest of the sugar along with green coloring, then mix until it reaches the consistency and color you like.
06 - Carefully pop the set Rice Krispie nests out of the cupcake pans. Pipe green buttercream inside each one to make it look like grass. Place mini egg candies or jelly beans on top.
07 - Wait for the buttercream to set up a bit. Then dig in and share these cute snacks for some festive fun!

# Notes:

01 - Make these a day or two ahead and store them in an airtight container to keep fresh.
02 - If nests are hard to remove, use a butter knife to gently loosen them from the pan edges.
03 - Using a mini cupcake pan? It works perfectly for smaller-sized nests!
04 - Try different food coloring options to add more springtime vibes to your creations.
