Handy Hints

Press edges firmly to avoid spills. Cook a few at a time for best temperature. Adding frozen dessert on the side makes them even better.

Recipe FAQs

→ Why should the filling be cold?

Cold filling stays firm while wrapping and doesn’t seep out when frying.

→ What’s the best oil temperature?

Maintain it at 350°F. Too low makes them oily, too high burns them before cooked through.

→ Can they be prepped early?

Prep ahead, but fry right before eating to keep them crisp and fresh.

→ How can I tell they’re ready?

They’re done when they’re golden brown, and the frying sound dies down.

→ What’s a good way to reheat?

Reheat in the oven for 5 minutes at 350°F. Don’t use the microwave since it’ll make them soggy.
