Green Chile Cheese Pull-Apart (Print Format)

Buttery bread filled with green chile, garlic, and plenty of melted cheese. Enjoy golden, tender layers in every bite.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough or 1 lb bread dough
02 - 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese
03 - 1 cup roasted chopped green chiles (mild or hot)
04 - 4 tbsp melted butter
05 - 1 tsp garlic powder
06 - 1/2 tsp salt
07 - 1/2 tsp onion powder (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - Cut the biscuit dough into small pieces about 1–2 inches in size.
03 - In a bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder, salt, and onion powder if using.
04 - Toss the dough pieces in the butter mixture until well coated.
05 - Add the chopped green chiles and half of the cheese; mix gently to distribute.
06 - Layer the dough mixture into greased mini loaf pans or one large loaf pan.
07 - Top with the remaining cheese.
08 - Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
09 - Let the bread cool slightly before pulling apart and serving.

# Tips:

01 - Serve warm for the softest texture and best cheese pull.
02 - Brush the hot loaf with extra melted butter and a sprinkle of flaky salt for a bakery-style finish.
03 - If using bread dough, pinch or cut it into small, even pieces to ensure uniform baking.
04 - Tent loosely with foil if the top browns too quickly to prevent overcooking.
