Honey Pineapple Salmon (Print Format)

A tropical blend of honey and pineapple enhances tender salmon with a flavorful glaze.

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 salmon fillets

→ Glaze

02 - 1/4 cup honey
03 - 1/4 cup pineapple juice
04 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

→ Seasoning and Garnish

07 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
08 - Salt and pepper to taste
09 - Sliced pineapple (optional)
10 - Chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated fresh ginger until well blended.
03 - Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and season evenly with salt and pepper.
04 - Brush salmon fillets generously with the honey pineapple glaze, reserving some glaze for basting.
05 - Bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Baste with reserved glaze halfway through cooking.
06 - Remove from oven. Garnish with sliced pineapple and chopped cilantro if desired. Serve immediately.

# Tips:

01 - For enhanced flavor, marinate salmon in glaze for 30-60 minutes before cooking.
02 - Salmon can also be grilled over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes per side, basting with glaze.
