Peanut Butter Oat Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1/2 cup peanut butter (use natural for best results)
02 - 1 cup oats (rolled, not instant)
03 - 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
04 - Tiny pinch of salt (skip if peanut butter is salted)
05 - 1/2 tsp vanilla (optional if looking for extra flavor)
06 - 1/4 cup chocolate chips (melt for topping, if desired)

# Instructions:

01 - Throw oats, peanut butter, sweetener (honey or maple syrup), salt, and vanilla into a bowl. Mix it all up until it’s uniform and sticky.
02 - Use a spoon to scoop mixture into a mini muffin tray. Press it in tightly to hold its shape. Silicone or liners make removal simpler.
03 - Warm up chocolate chips in short microwave bursts (15 seconds). Stir after each round until smooth. Spread or drizzle on formed cups if you like.
04 - Stick the tray in the fridge for at least an hour so everything firms up. Then pop them out and enjoy.

# Notes:

01 - Store them chilled for about a week or keep in the freezer longer.
02 - Almond butter or cashew butter work as swaps for peanut butter.
03 - Mix in seeds, nuts, or shredded coconut for extra crunch.
