01 - 1 large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)
02 - 1 lb ground beef
03 - 1/2 tsp salt
04 - Black pepper, to taste
05 - Garlic powder, to taste
06 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

07 - 1/2 cup Bisquick mix or 1/2 cup flour + 1/2 tsp baking powder + 1/4 tsp salt
08 - 1 cup whole milk
09 - 2 large eggs

# Steps:

01 - Set the oven to 400°F. Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
02 - Sauté onion in a skillet for about 3 minutes. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat and season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
03 - Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly in the pie dish. Sprinkle the top with shredded cheddar cheese.
04 - Whisk together Bisquick (or the flour mixture), whole milk, and eggs in a bowl until smooth.
05 - Pour the batter evenly over the beef and cheese in the pie dish. Bake the pie uncovered in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes until the top is golden and the center is set.
