Sausage Breakfast Hawaiian Sliders (Print Format)

Hawaiian rolls, sausage, eggs, and cheese baked with a buttery maple glaze—warm and perfect for mornings.

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 large eggs
02 - 1/4 cup heavy cream
03 - Salt and pepper, to taste
04 - 1 tablespoon butter
05 - 12 sausage patties
06 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
07 - 1 (12-ounce) package Hawaiian rolls

08 - 1 tablespoon maple syrup
09 - 2 tablespoons melted butter

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
03 - Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add egg mixture and scramble. Set aside.
04 - Cook sausage patties in the skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
05 - Without separating the rolls, cut the entire loaf horizontally and place the bottoms in the prepared 9x13-inch baking dish.
06 - Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on the bottom of the rolls. Layer scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and top with remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Place the top buns on top of the cheese.
07 - In a small bowl, combine melted butter and maple syrup. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.
08 - Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the cheese has melted and the rolls are warm.
