Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add egg mixture and scramble. Set aside.

Cook sausage patties in the skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain on paper towels and set aside.

Without separating the rolls, cut the entire loaf horizontally and place the bottoms in the prepared 9x13-inch baking dish.

Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on the bottom of the rolls. Layer scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and top with remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Place the top buns on top of the cheese.

In a small bowl, combine melted butter and maple syrup. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the cheese has melted and the rolls are warm.
